No, you're not the first person to use sound clips to do a flash but you certainly found an original way to use them and you managed to do it without resorting to the trite "multiple-sketch" format so overused here on NG.
kinda like the girl who won't get the clue the morning after, it went on longer than it should. But other than that it was fantastic and I love this series.
There are SO many megaman (not to mention Sonic) sprite movies out there that the bar HAS to be higher than this. It's freaking 2009 and there has been quality megaman flash on NG for over 9 years now.
Let's start on which ways this was subpar:
No music. Megaman 2 had an awesome soundtrack and you didn't have any.
Sound effects? Sounds like they were from excitebike, not Megaman
Glitchy movements without animation for their movements. A 3 year old playing with paper cutouts could have done as good.
The background. First one wasn't from Megaman 2, and the hills that were done in 3 seconds using MS paint?
You didn't get blammed because people get wood when they see megaman 2 but you should have. This wasn't even your first flash so you REALLY should have known better.
I don't know what else to say, it plainly SUCKED!
While not a big "furry" fan, I did find the original amusing so I gave this a shot even though you are not the author of LS1.
First off, the game concept. Not bad, though I think you are a sadistic mofo for some of those corners. Yes you can move the mouse off screen, but I chose to beat it the hard way to review this properly. So anyhow, sadistic Mo Fo!
The sounds was sampled from the first one and the cougar-girl did not have any facial expressions so I thought you copped out there. The reward sex was stale and unimaginitive and the little dialogue was confusing gibberish at best.
I appreciate the attempt to continue a series like this but I don't think you were up to the task. You should have labelled it as a "tribute"
The reviews seem split between those that get satire, and those who get pissy whenever anyone mocks the Watchmen.
I haven't read the books, but I did see the movie so I get the context of most of the jokes.
For those who are clueless, most famous American comic books have been made into a Saturday morning cartoon (do they even still have those?) meant for a 'G' or at least 'PG' audience. Given that Watchmen is just shy of 'NC17' and anyone under 14 wouldn't get any of it, and those who don't know jack about the 70's and 80's wouldn't either; it's obviously NOT appropriate for young audiences.
Hence this rendition of how ridiculously changed the story would be if they did make it PG
A non-stick animation by Wei-Xing. That alone warrants front page. Plus, when I see "Forbidden Forest" and "Archer" I immediately think of the classic C-64 game about a archer who does a ridiculous victory dance every time he clears a stage.
So when I see a ~30 sec. clip of some guy who misses the target and hits an ape who chases him and he then shoots it in the back, killing it....
THAT'S IT!? I'm not angry, I feel bad that it has your name on it. You compare it to your other GREAT works and it's sorely lacking. No context, no reason. This is what I would expect of a great artist's FIRST work. A test, or a "how does this look?"
Of course the animation was fluid and the action seen flowed very well. However, I went into this expecting that. Everyone knows Wei-Xing can do action well. No surprises, no "aha's!" not even a "wow, he's developed into such a great flash artist!"
I am impressed that you accomplished it in 6 weeks, but unless you were doing this to prove that you could work in a short time-frame it was a wasted effort.
Please continue to retain your previously high standards and good storytelling.
This was done for a university project and the limit was 30 seconds long. If I were to do this animation on my own account, and make a proper story out of it, it'd probably take me a few good months.
Unfortunately, I no longer have that freedom since I am focusing solely on animation and I aim to produce quality over quantity.
First off, to the previous poster; his mouth did open only it was only for one frame.
Which brings us to my main complaint about this flash. It was too long, the artist chose to prolong scenes and loop them around at low speed.
Which would have been fantastic had this been a more romantic setting. That was ruined by overuse of moneyshots and rear entry sans lubrication. Maybe making a girl cry during sex is your thing, but it's a turnoff for most.
That being said you had it setup for some real potential as a "nice" hentai. Had a very "experimental, first time" feeling to it all until the pre-mentioned who needs lube scene.
First off, thanks for the recognition of our suffering. Your series is one of the best on newgrounds and it's hard enough waiting even a week let alone 7 years...in dog years for each episode.
I don't mind waiting when the quality is this good but leave notes or something so we aren't going out of our minds waiting!

very nicely done

Thanks! I'm glad it was new enough of a format for you.

Great job and great end to a great series
It's not a great technical achievement but this is the halo movie (to date) of all stick figure movies.
I loved the ending with Dumb***'s solution.

predictable
The ending was predictable, but I wonder how his equipment kept doubling in size everytime.

Subcontract it out or something!!
